right....

OK so...

Now there was this little caterpillar...

Right, I was just minding my own business when I found this piece of paper on the ground. Now a sensible person would have walked away. But what caught my eye was the fact that on this paper... I found a word so simple that I wonder why I never appreciate it's meaning.
Peace.

Honestly, what was written upon the paper was just random nonsense and the word is so cliche that the word has lost it's meaning.

Peace.
What comes to mind each time one hears the word is the Hippy sign made in the 70's. Not to mention it's always the answer every cliche Pageant Queen show seems to have when the contestants are questioned what they want?

Host : So Miss what-ever-country, what do you want in this world?

Answer: World peace...*prissy glued-on smile*

*Bet you they are all dreaming of the crown upon their heads.

Anyway moving on, I can safely bet maybe, just maybe that is exactly what mostly comes to mind.
Peace.. inner peace.. serenity per say. Balance. What is peace really? Is it all the above?
Is it what a wise and nomad man achieves if he decides to take up a religious lifestyle or live on the land? Is it one feels when one goes into deep slumber after a long tiring day?
Questions, questions; what do they all mean?
Now if we were to look into the dictionary or an encyclopedia, tons of definitions could be found. Yet what is peace? Truly how can one be at peace with him or herself inside and out?

Today the world promises tons of opportunities? All in the sense of assisting man grant the most basic of needs; our subconscious wants for inner peace. Materialistic objects are promised and many methods or ways pop out of the blue. ( For example, take this and you will get high or have you tried this? It might make you famous) Let us all face the cold hard truth, man are selfish in nature. However if a person realises this and choose not to fall prey to such a trait, it will just mean the said person has his or her priorities straight.
Peace... It is how you look at it. And honestly does the world not promise you everything at every waking moment. Yet what is it does the world promise? Peace for the moment or a moment quench of our wants and desires. Truthfully are we strong enough to not be tempted?

I hope so.....oo a car..
