Today, I went to youth and Audrey gave an incredible message. One of her points out of the entire thing was reason to why the world today seemed so horrible.
People have often asked themselves and others why if God existed, are bad things happening around us? The answer was so simple and made so much sense that it was almost dumb that no one got it before.
The reason why there is tyranny, poverty, oppression, racism, discrimination, death and etc is because we as people do not make the decision to stand up against it. We do not rise up and choose to make a difference to change things for the better. Why not? After all who said we are unable to do so?
Audrey told the youths a story of a young man working a freelance job. The man drives each day along the highways to catch people whom were stranded in whatever situations, and offers help in return of nothing. The man does this only because of the fact that he was once saved by another man when he was caught in a blizzard. When he tried to thank his savior, the man did not want a reward. Instead the man told him to pass it on.
So, pass on every good deed done upon you and right every wrong committed in front of your eyes. You do not need to join the army or feed the poor to make a difference. It is the small things that sometimes causes a larger ripple affect.
Question is, do you care enough to do it?
